Sunday Sailing is back on after the Club has been busy with Pen Holder Meetings/the AGM. Sunday sailing time TBD based on wind conditions and we will update this ASAP.
Don’t forget there is always Trang’s Fish and Chips/Squid and Chips/Homemade Spring Rolls starting from 2:30pm onwards.

A very British Buffet in honour of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Come celebrate with delicious food and great company. Food served at 5:30pm. Bar will be open.

Sunday Busy-Bee
Come help out at the Clubhouse and set up some shade cloth. We are meeting at 8:30am at the Clubhouse for briefing.
Sunday Sailing is cancelled due to the weather and the Busy Bee.
Fish and Chips by Trang are still on from 2:00pm onwards.

Friday Night festivities have been cancelled due to the predicted weather.
This Friday is Vietnamese National Day!
Celebrate at the Club with a delicious Vietnamese menu.
Your choice of Lemongrass Pork Chop, or Chicken in Fish Sauce.
Served with steamed rice and salads.
Only $25 per plate.
The Bar opens at 5:30pm so please come and support the club.
Don’t forget that Sunday Sailing is on from 1:00pm with fish and chips, or calamari and chips available from the kitchen (2pm to 6pm).

SUNDAY Regatta
Calling out to all avid sailors. The Carnarvon Yacht Club is having its last regatta from the season on Sunday the 28th of August – kicking off at 12 noon. A course will be set up in the Fascine with multiple races. There will be a prize pool for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last
Ten club Windrush cats are available to be crewed and entrants with their own vessels are welcome. This is a free event open to all classes of sail vessel.
The bar will open from 2pm and the kitchen will be open with fish and chips.
This will be a great family fun day at Carnarvon’s premier fascine location and all are welcome.

This Friday night we have the girls from Fang’s Kitchen cooking up a treat. A plate of satay beef or chicken, with fried rice and salad for only $25 per head.

I hope you are enjoying the rainy weather. The good news is that the forecast is clearing up this weekend, so a perfect opportunity to come along to the Club to catch up with old friends and make some new ones!
There is Beer Battered Barramundi and Chips on the menu this Friday night, with a salad bar to accompany.

We had a great session of Sunday sailing last week – with a group of Dutch travellers trying their hand with the Windrush 14’s. There were also a few tourists and locals wanting to learn!
We are always seeking members to come down and show newcomers the ropes – please spare us an hour or two if you can.
Sailing starts at 1pm – with the bar open and light meals in the kitchen available from 2:00pm to 5:30pm.
